A DIY enthusiast is raising the bar for bloggers with her energy crafty elegant flair and she inspires others to take on decorating projects of their own.

When it comes to decorating, home improvement, healthy recipes and fun activities, nothing is more budget friendly like doing-it-yourself. You can spend countless hours searching for DIY bloggers, but there is one blog that will teach you how to make your house a home.

Kristina Scala is a woman on a constant quest to find ways to spend more time with her family and to make her home warmer than the day before. She is a Florida State University graduate, a wife, a mother of two young children and a blogger. Her blog, Casa Della Scala, is a DIY crafty homemaker, with a focus on home improvements, healthy recipes and creating a fun lifestyle for her family.

Her inspiration to start her blog began when she moved into her new home in Davie, Fla. in 2012. As her home improvement projects began, she decided to share them with others.

I thought of sharing it with others since my ideas are more budget friendly and its very popular to do things in a DIY fashion, said Scala.

She used to refer to her house as, Casa Scala, but her husband, Christopher Scala, insisted that they call it, Casa Della Scala, to represent his Italian heritage.

The name of my wifes blog brings inspiration and motivation to our family and home, said Christopher Scala.

Her goal is for her followers to feel inspired and get ideas on what they would do in certain areas of their home or things they may like to cook.

One of Kristinas followers, Alexis Stilley, just moved into a new home. She expressed how she was instantly captured by the concept of the blog because she is also interested in DIY projects that can improve details within her home.

It was good to know that I could also learn about Kristina’s parenting style and the fun activities she does with her children, said Stilley.

You can find plants Kristina Scala’s blog on Bloglovin and learn more about it on her Casa Della Scala Facebook page.

I want my blog to be an outlet for myself and for my own niche that people can enjoy to read and benefit from, says Scala.
